The Caspar David Friedrich Centre is a listed building. It has a step-free access only to the ground floor.

€ 15,00 per group, in addition to admission charges (€ 0.50 per child for groups of schoolchildren) plus cost of raw materials (€ 0.70 for each moulded candle, € 1.50 for each bar of soap/drawn candle)

The  Caspar David Friedrich Centre is located in the old town of Greifswald next to St Nicholas's Cathedral in the former home and business premises of the Friedrich family, now under a preservation order. Visitors enter the building from the Lange Straße no. 57, which is Greifswald’s main shopping street and now a pedestrianized zone.
